Coastal skipper looking for Mile building, Voluntary work or Friendship position on the road to Yacht Master
Hello all!
I'm Craig, and I'm currently in the southwest of England. I am working towards my Yacht Master Offshore. I have completed the theory and am now just getting the miles in to sit the practical. I'm a chilled, relaxed person who loves all things water-based and loves to learn new things and skills.
I'm looking to get some NM under my belt and more experiences behind the sails, I've sailed the Med as crew on a 40ft, raced dingies, have experience on gaff-rigged tall ships and in general sailed in tidal and non - tidal waters, having passed my skippers in tidal and my coastal skipper in non - tidal.
Looking to crew for both short 1 day trips through to longer voyages. I'm self-employed so sorting time off shouldn't be too much difficulty!
I am ex-emergency services and First Aid Trained and used to dealing with high-stress environments and working under pressure should the need arise. Take direction well as well as good at working in a team or on my own if required.
