Hi - I've just joined Crewbay. I'm interested in finding a position as a Novice Crew or Friendship. I'm looking forward to meeting some new people!
I first fell in Love with sailing, thirty years ago. After hurricane Andrew hit Miami Florida, a Friend of mine Anthony saved his mom's 44 Morgan, & he was rewarded by letting himself & 5 other close friends take her to the Bahamas & ever since then , I was hooked. I have sailed in a couple of races In Block Island, back in 98' & 99'. As well as a few trips to Florida Keys, Spanish Wells, Bahamas & St. PETERSBERG.
I am looking to learn as much as I can About sailing as I want to see if living on a boat is something I can do. It is my dream to live on a live aboard. I grew up boating since I was a child, mostly ( power boats) BUT only because my family has been in the biz for 30+ years, so I would consider myself somewhat experienced boater, but I really feel drawn to sailing rather then motor yachts & I am hoping to learn much more about sailing. ??
I also am a Kindergarten teacher,ESOL endorsed, ( I teach English) , yoga instructor, ski instructor & do all water sports, scuba certified, free diver and water sports enthusiast.
