Looking for a Steward(ess), Novice Crew or Cook/Stew position
About Me: I am a passionate, dedicated individual with a background in hospitality and cooking. I grew up in Arizona, spending summers on my father’s boat in the Sea of Cortez, where I developed a deep admiration for the ocean. Now living full-time in Italy, Recently i was working an organic farm in the Apennine Mountains where I cooked and cared for guests. When I’m not working, I’m eager to spend as much time as I can sailing and gaining more experience.
I’ve traveled to 24 countries and have developed a love for Mediterranean ingredients, cooking, and sharing meals with others. I would love to combine my skills in hospitality and cooking with my growing passion for sailing.
Sailing Experience:
In the summer(2023), I sailed for 8 days from Olbia to Bonifacio, around La Maddalena, with the company Join the Crew. My main contribution was planning and preparing meals for the crew, but I was always ready to lend a hand on deck and learned as much as I could.
In December, I took a 5-day intensive sailing course with Scuola Vela Italia in Cagliari, where I gained hands-on experience in regatta teamwork and the demands of sailing.
Why I Want to Sail: I am still a novice sailor but am highly motivated to improve my skills. I am seeking a position where I can continue to learn and contribute in any way I can. I’m especially interested in gaining more miles, developing my sailing knowledge, and sharing my love for Mediterranean food and hospitality with a crew.
