Looking for a First Mate, Deckhand, deck/stew or Delivery Crew position
Hello, I’m Ruby, I’m a Yachtmaster Offshore with 2800 nautical miles of sailing experience and a lifetime spent exploring Southeast Asia, including 13 years in Bali. While I originally planned to enter the yachting world as a stewardess, I quickly discovered, during my course at UKSA, that I preferred steering powerboats over mastering the art of bed corners. So, I swapped laundry for the helm and never looked back. Since then, I’ve worked as a watersports instructor, found a love for racing and earned my Yachtmaster qualification. Sailing has taken me through breathtaking coastlines in both the UK and Southeast Asia, and with each new journey, my appreciation for the sea and its unpredictable ways only deepens. Being surrounded by passionate, like-minded people is what makes the job worth it. Now, I’m looking forward to the next adventure—one that involves more navigating and fewer napkin-folding.
