Looking for a boat to cruise in Fiji and sail to Vanuatu/New Caledonia/Australia
I’m an Argentinian sailor and adventurer living in New Zealand since 2018, waiting for a weather window to sail to Fiji.
I’m hard-working, easy-going, safety-conscious, and comfortable living aboard for extended periods. I enjoy being part of a team and contributing both on deck and below.
I have offshore and South Pacific cruising experience and am keen to continue building miles with experienced skippers.
Sailing Experience
Chasiron 45" (monohull) Opua→Fiji
Etchells – Russell, NZ
Weekly crew during summer racing series (sail trim, maneuvers, teamwork)
Gunfleet 43 (Monohull) – Second Mate
Opua (NZ) → Fiji offshore passage
One month cruising the Yasawas and Mamanucas
Two weeks diving in Taveuni
Lavranos 43 Catamaran
Tonga → Fiji offshore passage
Cruising and exploring the Lau Group
Skills & Onboard Experience
Confident with night watches
Sail trimming and basic navigation support
Docking, anchoring, and general deck work
Catamaran and monohull experience
Comfortable in the galley – enjoy cooking for crew
Calm under pressure and reliable on long passages
Goals
My goal is to become confident single-handing, ideally learning from an experienced skipper.
I plan to sail toward Australia or Indonesia, potentially via New Caledonia and Vanuatu.
