Crew available for a transatlantic from Canaries to Carribbean !
Hi everyone !
My name is Vincent and I've joined Crewbay last year ! I'm looking for a sailing boat that would navigate from Canaries Islands (I can join you on any island) to Carribbean.
I'm going on a round-the-world trip and as I work as an environmental awareness facilitator (in particular sustainable development) I'd like to travel around the world by boat to change continents. I'd like to go and work for various associations that are directly involved in environmental protection initiatives, while continuing to learn about a whole range of subjects that are useful for raising awareness. So flying is not an option for me, and you'll understand that I'm highly motivated! ☺️
I'm 25 years old and have very little sailing experience (a few sailing courses as a child and some boat trips in Brittany with my parents, but no more than a week each time). Despite this, I have a very strong desire to see this project through. I'm not at all seasick and I've got good sea legs (good balance). I'm very adaptable and a quick learner. I'm also a cheerful, positive person. I'm very curious and love learning new things. I like living in a community and I'm very used to it. I also know that I would be entering your home so you can be sure I will be super respectful of your space and adapt myself to your way of doing things. Of course, I intend to take an active part in the life of the boat (cooking, cleaning, watch-keeping, etc.). I'm currently volunteering in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria !
