Looking for a Deckhand position
Hi - I'm interested in finding a position as a Deckhand.
The ocean is not just a place I visit; it is my true calling. As a deckhand, I have harbored a deep passion for maritime activities, and my dream of working on a ship has grown stronger over the years.
I work very well with my hands and am able to use heavy machinery. I am a qualified deckhand with experience in Full Washdowns, Painting, Stainless Polish, Teak Parts 1 & 2, Glass Polishing and Buffing, Watchkeeping, Sanding, Navigation, Tender Care, Tender Driving, and Diving. Furthermore, I have experience in painting houses; interior and exterior, buildings, and optimizing advanced camera rigs, weighing up to 1.6 tons including cutting, fitting, and doing the electrical wiring in the aluminium panels while actively contributing to the programming process.
My adventurous traits lead me to compete in the Olympic swimming trials, train horses for stunt work in films and even complete a stuntman course. I have also worked behind the scenes on multiple films in South Africa and the UK and was a featured extra in a series shot during my time working in Mauritius.
I believe that everything worth doing is worth overdoing. Moderation is for cowards. I strongly believe that I will not only be able to keep the boat clean but also help keep it running.
