Looking for a Novice Crew position
Hello, I just joined Crewbay. Currently in Mexico. I am interested in finding a position as a junior crew member.
I understand a lot of nautical terminology but I still have a lot to learn. I have some experience sailing small boats near the coast. I grew up in a yacht club and among veteran sailors. As a teenager, in the summers I did all kinds of water activities. Today my passion is Kitesurfing and surfoil. I understand a lot about the winds. I really want to learn how to sail on the high seas, I am sure I was born for it. I would like to have my own sailboat one day. I keep fit, I go to the gym every day, I swim 2-3 times a week, I run 2 times a week, in the past I spent a lot of time training for triathlon, I was a lifeguard and personal trainer. Today I am dedicated to digital art. I take great care of my diet and health, I do intermittent fasting every day (17, 18 hours). I am a vegetarian but flexible, at sea I can eat fish if necessary. I like to have interesting conversations, but I also like silence and I have no problem practicing it. I am proactive, clean, tidy, respectful, decisive, patient, I am simple but I understand the complexity of things and I know how to obey orders without arguing. I can live in a 5-star palace or in a simple hut. I adapt quickly to any situation. I want to feel and see what the old sailors lived, the smell of salty candles, the endless views, the silent sunrise and sunset, sleeping with the sound of water hitting the hull. I am clear that it is not a luxury trip and that there are moments that will be difficult to overcome, but I blindly trust my captain.
I would very much like to meet a captain who will become my role model and godfather at sea. The year 2023 will be for this dream (Hawaii). I have just arrived from Cape Verde to Florianópolis-Brazil. In May I will be in Costa Rica. I can travel to any coordinated location. Hola, me acabo de unir a Crewbay. Estoy interesado en encontrar un puesto como tripulante junior.
Entiendo mucha terminología náutica pero aún tengo mucho que aprender. Tengo algo de experiencia navegando en pequeñas embarcaciones cerca de la costa. Crecí en un club náutico y entre marineros veteranos. Cuando era adolescente, en los veranos hacía todo tipo de actividades acuáticas. Hoy mi pasión es el Kitesurf y el surfoil. Entiendo mucho acerca de los vientos. Tengo muchas ganas de aprender a navegar en alta mar, estoy seguro que nací para eso. Me gustaría algún día tener mi propio velero. Me mantengo en forma, voy al gimnasio todos los días, nado 2 o 3 veces por semana, corro 2 veces por semana, en el pasado dedique mucho tiempo a entrenar para triatlón, fui gurdavidas y entrenador personal. Hoy en día me dedico al arte digital. Cuido mucho mi nutrición y salud, realizo ayuno intermitente todos los días (17, 18 horas). Soy vegetariano pero flexible, en el mar puedo comer pescado si es necesario. Me gusta tener conversaciones interesantes, pero también me gusta el silencio y no tengo problema en practicarlo. Soy pro-activo, limpio, ordenado, respetuoso, resolutivo, paciente, soy simple pero entiendo las complejidades de las cosas y sé obedecer órdenes sin discutir. Puedo vivir en un palacio 5 estrellas o en una simple choza. Me adapto rápidamente a cualquier situación. Quiero sentir y ver lo que vivieron los antiguos marineros, el olor de las velas saladas, las vistas infinitas, el amanecer y el atardecer en silencio, dormir con el sonido del agua golpeando el casco. Tengo claro que no es un viaje de lujo y que hay momentos que serán difíciles de superar, pero confiere ciegamente en mi capitán.
Realmente me gustaría conocer a un capitán que se convierta en mi modelo a seguir y en mi padrino de mar. El año 2023 sera para este sueño (Hawaii). Acabo de llegar de Cabo Verde a Florianopolis-Brasil. En mayo estaré en Costa Rica. Puedo moverme a cualquier sitio coordinado.
