Looking for a Crew position. it's been a dream to live aboard a boat in a warm climate. Happiest in shorts and sandals.
Hi - I've just joined Crewbay. I'm interested in finding a position as a Novice/some what competent Crew member. I'm looking forward to meeting some new people! Looking for some new adventures. I have very little sailing experience. I do however spend my summers on my 32 ft power boat on day trips in eastern Canada. I spend winters working in Northern Canada and would like to escape the cold for a few weeks/months. I have experience navigating, mostly daytime and familiar with nav equipment like GPS, radar, compass and nav charts. I also have some cooking skills, Handy with ropes and operating a tender. Being a boat owner I do have experience in general boat/engine maintenance. Although I lack sailing experience I'm a quick learn, dependable, get along well with others and adventurous. if you fine yourselves in need of a crew member I'm up for the challenge.
