Looking for a boat welcoming me and my bike - taking us on a salty journey!
Hello there sailors,
Right now looking for a ride from Capo Verde to West Africa (Senegal, Gambia, Guinea Bissau…:)! I sailed here from the Azores and then Canaries some weeks agoand it’s time to get to AFRICA!
I’m currently on a splendid trip - started with my bike in Germany and rolled down to Andalusia - there I caught a boat to la Palma and have been enjoying the canaries. Then I sailed on to the Azores and around. Then back down. Now my new direction is Gambia or Ghana (Fatu Hiva is always an option, too;). Vamos! I used to spend a lot of time on the water - though unfortunately not under sails, but on a research vessel - always been keen on learning how to sail oceans (which I learned on a lake:) and miss time on salty, rolling waves! Engaging in new encounters and meeting people of all kinds fuels my voyage, also and equally important to me is FOOD, which Im passionate about and enjoy preparing :D more things I like: books (the real stuff), rivers, dance, words that can’t be translated, different points of view and PEACHES and feminism.
