Enthusiastic Videographer and Experienced Sailor Seeking Atlantic Crossing Adventure!
Hi guys!
My name is Friso, I am 19 years old and I live in the Netherlands. I have a video production company and I am also creating videos on youtube. I’m about to start a YouTube series documenting a world journey, and crossing the Atlantic by sailboat would be the perfect beginning. I can board anywhere in Europe and the final destination doesn't matter as long as it's on the other side of the ocean. In addition, I will be available for the next 6 months. Although I have not yet crossed an ocean on a sailboat, I bring solid sailing experience and a familiarity with life aboard. My journey with sailing began in my youth, when I discovered the beauty of harnessing the wind while sailing my French Laser. This early experience taught me the fundamentals of handling a boat. As I grew older, I expanded my skills by sailing along the UK coast with a family friend, where I gained some practical experience in coastal navigation. Most recently, in the summer of 2023, I worked as part of the crew on a sailing vessel in the Mediterranean for three weeks. This experience deepened my understanding of teamwork, the demands of life aboard, and the responsibilities of maintaining a sailboat. I’m comfortable with cooking, cleaning and other general tasks. I’m a quick learner, physically fit, and highly adaptable to the dynamic nature of life aboard. I also thrive in team environments, maintaining a positive and collaborative spirit even during challenging times.. I’m always very positive, enthusiastic and hard working.
