We are a happily married couple living on water. We are pretty open to discuss various arrangements and boats that might like to have us aboard. We both need to build miles and ideally, we would like a job or work exchange. Open to delivery crew or cruising long term.
Julie is a registered nurse with a specialty in pediatrics and Jeff is a IT professional with varied hobbies, incredible problem solving skills, all things web and an eye for videography.

FIRST MATE, 40’ STEEL POLYNESIAN, S/V MANU ARE - FRENCH POLYNESIA — 2018
Worked in tandem with the Captain in French Polynesia to sail from the Iles Sur le Vent to Iles Sous le
Vent over 6 weeks. Installed electrical and GPS navigation systems and planned navigational routes.
DECKHAND, 57' CHALLENGER, S/V SECOND SUMMIT - GALAPAGOS — 2018
Assessed, repaired and contributed to the seaworthiness of the vessel for the oceanic voyage from
Costa Rica to French Polynesia. Compiled detailed reports on results of ship inspection, made
recommendations and major repairs. Installed AIS and GPS navigational systems. Developed safety
plans and provisioned safety equipment and first aid. Created meal plans and provisions. Navigated,
sailed, and maintained the ship for the 4000+ NM passage.
DECKHAND, 31' PEARSON, S/V VAHEVALA - SAN FRANCISCO BAY — 2017
Navigated the turbulent coastal waters around the Bay Area from Oakland to San Francisco and
returning several times a month. Skills in anchoring, navigating and sail trimming improved.
DECKHAND, 41’ MORGAN, S/V SEA ROSE - HAWAII — 2015
Prepared the vessel for the 3500+ mile passage to and from Honolulu to Tahiti, French Polynesia.
Navigated oceanic and wind currents to safely and quickly travel through the Doldrums on course.
DECKHAND, 27' CAPE DORY, S/V PISCES - KEY WEST — 2014 & 2016
Prepared and crewed to and from Rio Dulce, Guatemala and Havana, Cuba.
