Come on 2025, brighten up so we can go sailing!!

I'm Eddie and hopefully your new crewmate!! I’ve been sailing for about 15 years and tend to spend around a third of a year at sea each year... This isn't quite enough if you ask me!! I have my RYA Day Skipper Theory & Practical, VHF, Engine 1 and I'm a Padi Divemaster. I've also done my STCW 95 with First Aid & Firefighting and have over 5000 nm's in the logbook in very mixed conditions!
Character-wise, I’m laid back , easy to get on with, and very happy with life aboard. I love to laugh, meet new people and hear their stories. I'm happy to contribute towards costs/pay my way etc and am reliable on a solo watch.
I prefer a longer trip and don’t get seasick... I have put this to the test in the Atlantic many times and so far so good.
In 2025, I intend sail as much as possible with old and new friends, with the dream being to sail across the Atlantic at the end of the year. With this in mind, I'm particularly keen to join a boat with transatlantic plans, even if the plans are distant ones!
In the future, I'm going to buy a boat and sail it across the Pacific but I'm not in any rush, I'm enjoying building skills, making new friends, and having great times on the water.

Eddie has the potential to become a great sailor. He actually wants to buy his own yacht after he has gained the experience so is very attentive and interested in his crewing responsibilities. He dealt with a lack of comfort on our small boat very well, never complaining. He was doing all chores without questioning. Helming boat on his own in English Channel, we did night crossings and he was OK with it. In total we made 250Nm+ in good weather conditions, mainly coastal cruising. I'm know he would be a great help and companion to anyone, as he was for my partner and I. Eddie is a very nice positive happy energy to be around and quick to laugh and joke.
