Experienced racing/cruising sailor and navigator; ~40,000 ocean miles, 15,000 on high performance catamarans.
I am looking for any kind of fun and interesting delivery or cruising opportunity.
I have done about 40,000 ocean miles on a variety of yachts, big and small. About 15,000 of the 40,000 have been on Gunboat catamarans. I am a highly experienced racing navigator, and a good meteorologist.
I currently race everything from Lasers to large keel boats. On larger race boats I am usually the navigator. Navigational experience includes Newport-Bermuda, Caribbean 600, ARC...
I do not get sea sick. I am extremely fit: 5'10", 160 lbs -cycling, nordic skiing, backcountry skiing, hiking etc. . I am an avid windsurfer and a beginner wing foiler.
I am retired and financially secure. I hold both British and US passports.
I am willing to travel anywhere for the right opportunity.
