Looking for a Competent Crew, Voluntary work, Friendship or Mile building position

After a long career in Telecoms / IT I am taking some time out to enjoy life more with family and Friends old and new. - I've just joined Crewbay. I'm interested in finding a position as a Competent Crew, Voluntary work, Friendship or Mile building. I'm looking forward to meeting some new people!
I am recently RYA Competent Crew and Day Skipper qualified and looking to use my new free time to build my Ocean experience on voyages short and long, I am friendly easy going and willing to help out and share in all the challenges involved.
I have always enjoyed the Ocean and also have further small boat experience mainly from Sports diving and fishing trips so I am looking forward to taking opportunities to expand my Ocean life experiences further. - Cheers Colin

Great company and an asset to any crew
Colin joined me for a week of cruising in the Cyclades and I have no hesitation in recommending him to other skippers. He was still quite new to sailing at that point but is a fast learner with a nice calm attitude and a whole bunch of useful practical skills that benefitted both of us. We had a couple of equipment problems including a broken vang, lost outboard kill switch and even a sinking dinghy that he set about fixing to good effect. Good company on nights ashore too! Would sail again with him any time.
