From Saudi Arabia to Greece/or anywhere in EU - Looking for a boat
I am CREW available for the passage from Saudi Arabia/Egypt to Europe 2025.
French, fluent in English/Spanish, I hold french passport expiry 2030, fully COVID-19 vaccinated.
Timeframe APRIL/MAY.
I am looking for cruisers that are transiting north direction in the Red Sea Passage stoping over in Saudi Arabia or Egypt. Because Egypt has become more difficult and more expensive whereas Saudi Arabia has opened up, I think it is easier to embark in Saudi Arabia. I am available for boarding anywhere in Saudi Arabia from Jeddah and futher North.
I am positiv crew, hard-worker, easy-going, flexible on food and night-shift, and use to life-on-board. Very keen on navigation, routing, maintenance, repairing, manoeuvres, trimming, and helping cooking, cleaning. I bring a bicycle cleaned, packed and dismounted. With this bicycle I crossed Middle East, Asia, Australia and America.
By looking for a sailing boat in Saudi Arabia or Egypt I am aiming to reach anywhere in Europe either Greece, Crete, Italia or Albania etc... All these place to disembark are fine because then I will ride home by bicycle.
I cross the Canal of Panama and I am aware of the security issues for a sailing boat in the Red Sea passage.

I am sailing because I deeply enjoy being at sea for long crossing and coastal tourism. Secondly, my trip is about completing a world tour mostly with wind-power or human-power (cycling).
I am enjoying cards, board games, fishing, sharing experiences, cooking and can teach some geology, astrophysics, some yoga, paragliding, climbing.
I am very active but not exploited at will, I am good communicator, altruist, empathic and respectful. I am not looking for romance.

First rate shipmate
Sandrine is a first rate shipmate. She is an upbeat and can-do person who is a pleasure to have on board. She was always alert and sensible and once her competence quickly became apparent I had no problems sleeping soundly when she was on watch. She is a great hand in the galley and on deck. I I recall with enjoyment the way she would grab the tools and elbow me out of the way as we completed our pre voyaging prep before sailing Bora Bora to Fiji. Her list of accomplishments is long and varied. Her mountaineering and paragliding skills have translated excellently to long distance cruising. She has many more sea miles and experiences of sailing different boats than grizzled old salts twice her age. I would recommend her without hesitation.
