Captain Dylan Haas

Dylan and I have worked together on numerous occasions. Having known him for several years, I can safely say that on top of being an excellent sailor, his attention to detail, safety focus, and communication skills are unmatched. As my captain, he was a pleasure to work and live with even in tight quarters for weeks and months at a time. His humor and excellent attitude can make you forget that you're slamming across the gulf stream in the pouring rain, and the knowledge and expertise that he's picked up through a wide range of experience allowed me to sleep soundly at night. As far as deliveries go specifically, he is extremely conscious about the needs of the owners. On food, maintenance, and moorage, he makes decisions as if he were spending his own money. He exhausts every option to find the most cost effective and appropriate solution to any problem. The tactful ease with witch he aquaints himself with just about everyone he meets has earned him usesful contacts all over the US, Caribbean, and farther afield. He strives to hand the boat off at its destination in better condition than he received it in. I wouldn't hesitate to sail with him again.
