Looking for sailing experience and happiness
Hi! I'm Sarah, originally from France.
I'm currently studying a Master Degree in Germany about Global Change Management and finishing my master thesis.
I'm an easy going person, enjoying nice people's presence and happiness around me. I also sometimes need my own silence & space. I love books and I don't like when people are speaking too loud in a forest. Sailing on the sea is one of my favorite thing in the world because it makes me feel free. I enjoy cooking and discovering new recipes - and I love waffles.
I have some experience in sailing : I sailed along the Netherland coast and went for a one month sailing trip to Norway on the North Sea and in the fjords. I try to always learn from my mistakes. I'm not afraid of hard work and really enjoy meeting new people. I have a strong desire to learn and discover the world of sailing, and I don't like to stay inactive. It is always a pleasure for me if I can help and learn at the same time. And I smile, I smile a lot.
See you soon!

Brilliant a-typical millenial and great sailor to be
I was lucky to meet Sarah after a cancelled trip to Norway. She decided to join anyway for some local Netherlands and Northsea sailing as all borders were closed. She did immediately adapt to the boating life. A fast learner... She speaks perfectly French, German and English what made conversations sometimes funny switching between languages to find the right word. Apart from a keen sailor she is an excellent (vegetarian and non vegetarian) cook and she is good in hardware assistance. Not suffering from seasickness and not afraid at all from adverse weather situations. So if your autopilot fails you can put Sarah at the rudder and you won't see any difference. She stayed cool when we lost our engine during a 6 Bf windy day (due to diesel bacteria cluttering of the fuel system) and she assisted in mooring the boat (without sails still going at 3.3 knots speed) without fear, catching the buoy. She is a quick learner and she makes notes all the time, very well organized. Living on a budget, with just a backpack, a laptop and a violin she is not taking up a lot of space on your boat. Feed her some Belgian Waffles and she will do anything to assist you in your sailing adventures. She is very responsible and has a big heart for our environment. I two weeks she went from a complete rookie to a well trained basic sailor you can leave alone on night shifts on the ocean. When not sailing you can park her with good books (and waffles) in a corner of your boat and just forget she is there. A wonderful lady you should hire for your next trip. You won't be disappointed. PS. she gave an amazing violin concert while sailing on easy water, Titanic style on the front deck of the boat, dressed up for the occasion. It resulted in nice photographic material. She plays well the violin ! Definitely not the average girl, but a powerful and promising sailor !
