I’m an adventurous girl from the Netherlands looking for a boat which I can join from Europe to Central/Latin America. About me: I’m currently working as a Finance consultant, but in my spare time I like to make the world a better place in terms of sustainability, equality/equity, by volunteering in different projects. I like to cook, paint, go running and do some yoga/meditation, but on top of that there are also many other sports/hobbies that I have ! Looking for likeminded people which I can join on this adventurous journey, to build some wonderful memories together, learn from each other in multiple ways!
I’ve got barely any sailing experience (only did one weekend of sailing) but I really enjoyed it!!
Here are some of the things that I can offer you right now:
- Good working mentality: I am naturally a curious person and I like to learn new things, on top of that I always work hard but at the same time I'm up for a good laugh
- Teaching/tutoring of children: I have several years of experience tutoring high school students in several subjects and some experience teaching and tutoring in university as well.
- Cooking: I love to be creative when cooking so this is ideal for a sailing trip I think
- Teaching yoga
- I am a person with a very broad interest, so I am pretty sure that we will have some common interests to talk about
Languages spoken: English (fluent), Dutch (native), French (intermediate/fluent), German (basics)

Bright soon to be excellent sailor lady !!
I introduced Lisanne to sailing as she has plans to make an ocean crossing but never was on a boat. So we went sailing on the largest salt water lake of Europe, Grevelingen. Lisanne is great company, did not suffer from seasickness, is an excellent cook (try her vegan couscous dishes!) and great company at the discussing table. More than smart and very emancipated. Can turn your front deck into a dancing stage within minutes, while ashore or while sailing... Is excessively good at dressed up formal boat parties and not too expensive on wine. Glad she got the first good feeling of sailing and soon there will be more for her. Having her on your ship won't be a bad idea !!! Dutch ladies rock you know !!!!
