Motivated Deckhand Ready to Join Crew Immediately - STCW + PB2 + ENG1
Hello, I’m looking for boats to crew on this year.
I’m new to the deckhand role professionally, but I’ve spent many years around boats and have gained solid hands-on experience with boat handling, basic navigation, watchkeeping, vessel maintenance, and safety procedures.
This year I’ve worked for a Sail-to-Ski outfit up in the Arctic north of Norway and have also crewed on wildlife cruises around Scotland, giving me experience in challenging conditions, guest interaction, and daily vessel operations.
I hold the following certificates:
STCW Basic Training
ENG1 Medical
RYA Powerboat Level 2
Knuckle Boom Crane

Excellent Crew!
I had the pleasure of having Jerome onboard as crew for 3 weeks at the start of 2023. Lovely guy, very capable sailor, willing to push out of comfort zones, great in the galley as well. Can't say enough nice things. Following the NSW coast, covering more than 225 nm, including 2 overnight sails, including some very "sporty" sailing conditions. Jerome truely loves sailing, and I'd fully recommend him as part of your crew.
