Looking for a Novice Crew position
I fallen in love with sailing about 6 years ago. Then I got a boating license and started to sail. I also got a scuba diver license (18m).
I gained some experience sailing in Italy, Côte d'Azur, Carib (Martinique and Saint Vincent), Tenerife, Croatia, Greek Islands and european Atlantic coast, but I sense the urgency to sail more "consistently" for a longer period. For this reason I'm quitting my current job (IT Engineer).
I generally like to learn new things, such as other languages and cultures, and skills like sailing and scuba diving. I would also like to learn fishing and the basics to perform sailing boats maintenance and to organize oceanic crossings. I'm usually happy and like to laugh, avoiding to take things too seriously. In the end there very few things that are not repairable. However I'm a "diesel" type, being generally more active in the afternoon / evening than in the morning. I enjoy books and music from time to time. Having an apartment by myself from 11 years, I'm capable to perform all basic duties like cleaning and cooking.
At the moment I want to gain sailing and boat maintenance experience.In the future I may think about getting a boat myself.
