Fit, easygoing couple looking for sailing adventures in south Florida and Bahamas

Hello,
My wife and I live in Miami and we would be interested in day sailing or trips to the Bahamas. We are retired, good physical shape, and we both love the sea. I am 64 years old, an excellent swimmer and freediver and love to snorkel, also NAUI certified. I am very handy, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry, (we have remodeled several homes), some mechanical, but not my strong point. I am a somewhat experienced sailor, while most of my boating experience has been on power boats, I have sailed with friends from Miami to Bimini several times, to the Dry Tortugas from Key West twice and around the Aeolian Islands from Catania, Sicily in 2021 with a captain we met through CrewBay as crew and this year sailed the Abacos for 1 week on a catamaran as co captain.
My wife, Sophie, is 50 years old, French, in good physical shape, and a great cook! She was always my first mate when we owned a power boat, but has little crewing experience on a sailboat, though she did accompany me on most of the above mentioned sails. She is a good swimmer/snorkeler and also enjoys the sea. She speaks French, English, and Spanish.
We are non smokers and light drinkers, and easy going. We enjoy being active, but can also relax with a good book or a nice bottle of wine over good conversation. We both are fully vaccinated for Covid with all boosters. We are financially independent and would pay our own expenses and would share the expenses of the boat/journey.
Our careers were in IT, we had the opportunity to work in London for 2 years and Nice, France for 4 years. After retirement we traveled often, but sometimes it is nice to take a break from moving so we stayed in Dominical, Costa Rica 5 months and Toulon France for 4 months.
We are animal lovers and when we are in Miami, our home base, we give back by fostering dogs and volunteering at a local dog shelter.

Great crew!
Jon and Sophie were an absolute pleasure to sail with. They joined us for an eight-day cruise from the east coast of Sicily through the Straight of Messina to the Aeolian Islands. Their friendly nature and good humor brought an extra level of camaraderie on board. They arrived early to help set the boat up and stayed an extra day to clean and close-down the boat. Sophie had some serious skills in the galley and Jon’s diving skills helped keep the bottom side clean.
