- Looking for Atlantic Crossing - I have an RYA Yachtmaster Offshore Certificate
Hi there, I'm looking to grow in the yacht industry, seeking for a spot in an Ocean crossing to practice a bit of celestial navigation before siting for the RYA Yachtmaster Ocean Exam.
A little bit about me, I'm Paula, Argentinian citizen, who has lived in Europe for over 10 years. I've been living and sailing in a 31ft boat between Europe and South America for the last years. I have skippered boats in Greece during the Med season, and lately I work as First Mate in Antartic Expeditions. My yachting career has been a quick and intense learning experience, including in some of the most challenging waters in the world (Cape Town, Cape Horn and Antarctica ). I have my RYA Yachtmaster Offshore license and I have experience on and below deck. I'm able to be on the helm, do night watches, trim sails, sail repairs, passage plan, in addition to being able to cook, clean and provision the boat for trips and charters.
If you are looking for someone aboard with great attitude, good cooking skills, and willingness to help whatever situation might occur, I am your crew.
