I'm experienced and want to go cruising in the spring of 2025
Hi all,
I'm a Swedish male looking for the oppurtunity to crew on a boat. Maybe you need company or help during a passage? Or just slowly sailing from island to island? I will be retiring in the spring of 2025 and don't have a date when I have to return.
I don't smoke and I work hard with a relaxed attitude. I can cook, clean and do maintenance.
I have crossed the Atlantic twice. Once as crew on a 40 ft monohull in the racing division of the ARC and once as a first mate on a 39 ft performance catamaran. I also have sailing experience from coastal solo sailing my (now sold) Wharram Tiki 21 and sailing a friends 31 ft monohull on the Swedish west coast and also creewing on a Lagoon 380 in Croatia. I have a Swedish Inshore Yachtmaster Diploma.
I don't smoke, but I enjoy a beer when the anchor has set. I'm fluent in English and speak a little French and Spanish.
I expect to pay for my share of the expenses and maybe some extra for the upkeep of the boat.
I'm partial to multihulls, but other things are more important than the number of hulls.
