Looking for pristine dark blue water, remote seashores, sky full of stars and good company!
Hello ! I'm Fred, a begginner sailor from Québec, Canada! After my first sail trip between New York and the Bahamas, i'm looking for a second adventure at sea! This first experience had been quite interesting and confirm my love to be out there, just living the moment with the wind and the sea. I'm a nature loving guy who enjoy learning more about it, whatever the topic! I like simple things, good and meaningfull conversation around a good meal, listening and playing music, cook, etc. For my next trip, i really hope to learn much more about sailing, such as maneuver the boat, understang how currents and the winds affect it, basic mechanic and whatever is useful for long sailing trip!
My sailing experience is not enormous, though I learned a bit during my first 2 months trip in between NY and the Bahamas. I know roughly how work and what navigation lights mean, mostly because i had to took a lots of night shifts and helping my captain enter ports. I helped him getting up or store sails and attaching the boat to the docks. After sealing along the densely populating united states east coast, i'm looking for something less crowdy and natural :) I really loved my time in the Bahamas discovering remote little islands, snorkeling and chilling in a hamac!
