Watch: Atlantic Crossing 2023
Work Ethic +
*** Looking for a passage from St Croix or St Thomas USVI to Sint Marteen abd ultimately Guadeloupe to join a tall ship.
GOALS AND INTRODUCTION
I am seeking a position on a sailboat as Chef, Deckhand, Stewardess or any position reflecting the skills listed below. The work ethic and learning possibilities matter more than the position itself or the type of boat. I grew up in nature in a health oriented family where physical fitness, teamwork skills, reliability, and adaptability were fostered. I developed a keen eye for details and I can work on a boat in motion, even in rough weather. I enjoy taking care of the gear, and I naturally pay attention to others' preferences and needs.
I am eager to keep learning and to share what I love with children and adults alike. I am a trained veterinarian who practiced in France. In Canada, I was a health coach and hydrotherapist for dogs. I homeschooled my 3 children. My daughter is a highline world class champion. Beside sailing, I love hiking, wilderness exploration, cultural exploration, arts, music and photography. I am considered a solid crew member and a good asset on several boats, where I am re-invited. I would be happy to send you references.
