Now that Covid is over, I am interested in more long term commitments, deliveries or passages. Most countries I have sailed to and around and through have been Spanish speaking, except for Greece and the South China Sea. I loved handling lines through the Panama Canal. I can easily stew/host, and deck, navigate, provisions. Lots of times it’s just a captain and me on passages, but I love people and exploring/entertaining. I’m independent, great traveler if you needed someone who could meet up for a leg. I’m also a liveaboard for years (wisdom comes slowly from many boat and Marina experiences), I raced J22s (winning team player), and and fit, vaxed, boosted and healthy. I came back to the USA because of Covid limiting travel, but am very ready to be gone again now long term. I'm still piecing together that circumnavigation I started in 2019....Thank you considering me.
July 2021 - Crew in the Ionian Sea
I'm a liveaboard in St. Petersburg Municipal Marina. I've crewed across the Caribbean now, the Panama Canal and headed up the west coast of Central America to PV, Mexico on Sailing Vessels from 38-68 feet. I've learned even more with each new vessel, Captain, routine and styles. Since August 2019, I have sailed continuously, and want to keep going. I did work on a M/Y in the Bahamas I have my PADI open water diving cert, mostly for cleaning props and waterlines.
Dec I've been a teacher for years, while racing J-22 and S2/7.9 in Nashville, TN. Open minded, and ready to add to my skills and abilities maintaining, navigating, repairing, and generally sailing new vessels in new waters. I am ready, well equipped, and healthy. I'm a team player, always looking for potential problems, funny, and travel light. Very interested in crewing for circumnavigation. Thank you.
