Competent Crew, Part of a Team; Open to work: stew/cook, snorkel guide, masseuse, yoga teacher, homeschool teacher
Hi friends! I have crewed on various sailboats for a total of 4 seasons. I have been in charge of the galley & provisioning, cooking, watched sailboats while owners were away, and competently crewed on sailboats in Panama, Belize, and throughout the Eastern Caribbean, west coast of Mexico to El Salvador, and the east coast of Georgia/Florida. I own a 22' MacGregor that I sail on lakes in Northern California. I love living on the sea. My main motivations are learning more about sailing, swimming/snorkeling/diving, making new friends, being part of a team, working on a book I'm writing, and to creating my life without my (now adult) children at home anymore. I am a good whole foods cook, can catch and clean fish, keep a night watch, trim the sails, and dive your anchor :-) I am also somewhat competent with Navionics.
I was a K-12 teacher, and I have more recently been teaching yoga and swimming and offer therapeutic massage. I also ran a small hostel in California and have good hostess skills and am used to working with all types of people.
I am a very strong swimmer, love snorkeling, scuba diving, and sailing. I don't smoke cigarettes and I rarely drink.. I eat a very healthy diet and enjoy cooking for others. I pay attention to details and don't mind cooking, cleaning, or helping with boat maintenance & sailing. I like to have some time for yoga, swimming, and writing most days. I am laid back, upbeat, have a positive attitude, and am easy to get along with. For the current season, I would love to find paid work or a boat with dive tanks, but am open to a variety of arrangements.. I can provide a CV and references upon request. ~Kellyfish

Great sailor, awesome person
Kelly is a very knowledgeable sailor and an absolute joy to crew with. She is fun loving and knows how to work to get the job done. Not afraid to get her hands dirty. On top of that she loves to cook for the crew, and let me tell you, she is an awesome cook. She has top notch interpersonal skills and loves to help people. I would 100 percent crew with Kelly again!
