Looking for a Voluntary work, Mile building, Racing or Deckhand position, slow traveling, enjoying the path
Hello, my name is Vera 27, from Austria. I have about 2000nm experience, always recreational sailing around Europe, on a Tallship and on a Beneteau 43, and one Aluminium monohull 18m.
Now I want to build up miles, get much more knowledge about sailing and travel much more. I kind of stopped my sailing adventures for an apprenticeship in wooden ship building in spain, which I finished now in September.
So I would love to go back to my travel plans , ideally to join for an Atlantic crossing end of 2022, beginning 2023, as I am curious to visit South America and Canada.
Also my Brother Valentín (32) would like to go on this tríp with me, he is a biologist, great Cook, climber and adventurer. He has good sea legs, is calm and skilled and helpful, together we are a dream team!
We would love to join anywhere in Europe, and we are free after Christmas this year. But let's talk about dates in a video call, as everything is kind of flexible. Hopefully we manage to arrange some sailing before, so we can get to know each other better.
So if some late travelers are still around, in need of helpful, easygoing, open-minded and motivated sailors - we are ready to go!
I love diving , hiking and all sorts of stuff. Responsible, attentive and respectful person , that knows what kind of tasks need to be done on a boat. Happy to share work and fun, and very willing to learn!
I speak German, English and Spanish fluently. (My brother too)
We both got the STCW95 certificate, and are rescue Divers out of practice :D
Don't hesitate to ask more questions, can't wait to hear from you.
