Experienced Chef/Artist/Sailor Available for Yacht Adventures
Ahoy Sailors!
I am Nikki, a versatile Chef, Artist, and Sailor, currently back in the UK and eager to bring my diverse skills to your yacht. With a background as an ex-professional fine dining chef (portfolio available, covering all cuisines and diets) and experience as a chef for smaller yachts and as mate/deckhand (references available), I am a well-rounded individual passionate about boat life. I have a deep love for animals, diving, snorkeling, and all the adventures that come with life at sea.
Originally from Prague, Czech Republic, I spent 10 years in London where I lived on a boat. With 17 years of hands-on experience living on boats, I bring a wealth of practical knowledge and a strong work ethic. I hold a current STCW.
My Previous Experience Includes:
- Several boat deliveries, including a recent Biscay crossing in August 22
- Growing up on a 32 ft sailboat with my father, learning the ropes from him and later from maintaining and fixing my own boat, which I unfortunately had to sell last year due to the pandemic.
- Approximately 3000 nautical miles of sailing experience.
**Additional Skills:**
- Fluent in English, Czech, and Slovak, and currently learning French.
- Valid EU passport, enabling easy travel across Europe.
I am seeking an open-minded and optimistic yacht crew that enjoys laughter and needs a reliable team member they can count on.
