Comp crew/Delivery crew looking to make new sailing friends & gain more sailing/life experiences and skills.
Hi - I'm interested sailing as Competent Crew, Watch Leader, or Delivery Crew. I'm looking forward to making some new sailing friends. I am a young at heart, fit and healthy 66 year old retired chef/restaurant owner who now has plenty of time on his hands.
Voyages to date include Delivery crew on Lagoon 42 from France to BVI's via Spain, Portugal, Canaries and Mindelo, Cabo Verde.
Also Crewed on an Anderson 30 from Kefalonia to Minorca, sailing via Malta, Gozo, Pantellaria, Sicily, the Egadi islands and Sardinia.
Other sailing experience includes several flotilla holidays around the Greek islands, sailing mainly a Beneteau 323 with my wife.
Training was done on the Irish sea off the North West coast.
Covid and a long term family illness has curtailed my recent sailing opportunities, but I am now looking for new sailing adventures.
