Seeking the full time position as a Captain,1-st Mate or Engeener for long period.
Dear Hiring Manager & Yacht Owners,
If you’re looking for a captain who knows the sea like the back of his hand, can handle a yacht with precision, and still crack a joke when the weather turns, then you just might have found your man.
With over 40 years in the yacht industry, I’ve tackled every challenge the ocean has thrown at me. And I mean ocean—not just the Mediterranean, North Sea, or the Baltic, but all the world’s oceans. Whether it’s delivering yachts across continents, managing charter operations, or handling last-minute engine fixes in the middle of nowhere—I’ve been there, done that, and got the salt-stained t-shirt to prove it.
But it’s not just the open sea. I’ve also navigated the rivers and canals of Europe, mastering the art of inland waterways and passing through hundreds of locks along the way. From winding rivers to vast, multi-kilometer tunnels cutting through entire landscapes, I’ve tackled strong currents, tight passages, and the quirks of century-old lock systems—all with the same determination and skill that the open ocean demands.
I hold an RYA/MCA Yachtmaster Offshore (Sail & Power) with a Commercial Endorsement and an AEC, ensuring that I bring not just experience but the qualifications to back it up. My career has taken me through every type of yacht—motor, sail, catamarans, gulets—and every possible challenge at sea. Managing crew, planning routes, and keeping a vessel in top shape? That’s my daily routine.
What sets me apart? A cool head under pressure, a problem-solving mindset, and an ability to turn any crew into a tight-knit, efficient team. I believe that a great captain is not just a skilled navigator but also a leader who keeps morale high, whether it’s during a storm or a busy charter week.
I pride myself on being discreet and professional, ensuring that owners and guests can fully relax and enjoy their time on board. At the same time, I have a knack for turning even the most ambitious or unexpected ideas into reality—because a yacht should be a place where dreams set sail, quite literally.
I’m currently looking for a long-term position where I can bring my expertise to a yacht that values professionalism, efficiency, and a touch of humor. If you’re looking for someone who can get the job done while ensuring the crew and guests feel safe, comfortable, and well taken care of, let’s talk.
I’d be happy to discuss how my skills can benefit your yacht and crew. Feel free to contact me anytime.
Looking forward to sailing into new opportunities with you.
Best regards,
