Ocean crossing experience looking for 2024/25 sailing opportunities UK and Worldwide
Fun, easy going, reasonably fit with 29,000 NM in log on boats up to 77 feet. Very young at heart with a relaxed responsible attitude, able to fit in with and communicate with all types and ages. I have sailed across the North Atlantic 4 times - (1 x east to west, 3 x west to east), the South Atlantic from Cape Town to Brazil on to the Caribbean, and the Indian Ocean from Seychelles to Cape Town. I understand the dynamics and complexity of being at sea for several weeks at a time and am happy to muck in with whatever needs doing. Can cook, sing and have sailed on yacht with limited electronics and no auto helm as well as more regular boats.

John is a really nice pleasant guy who is easygoing and willing to learn new ways. Competent in the kitchen, great at making tea lol. We did some races, nights out, heaving too, spinnaker flying, anchoring, and anchor ball. A good addition to the crew, thank you for your company John, I wish you all the best in your future sailing.
