Deliveries and/or interesting propositions
I am interested in almost all deliveries and mile building. Especially in parts of the world I've not been yet.
Whether I can help out or take part on a trip, is, as usual in life, all about the timings and locations. But if I can make it work, I will.
Whether it's a freshly bought boat (new or not) being moved to meet its new owner for the first time, or a well loved yacht being taken to a new location, or simply if it's bringing something home from where you've left it - I don't mind. Even if it isn't yet capable of making the trip, we can surely prepare it to be ready for whatever seas it has to go through.
For me, being out on the big blue seas is simply phenomenal. And doing it safely and professionally makes it even better. Prepping a boat to go, using the wind and waters to get it from A to B, getting it where it needs to be, all give me a sense of accomplishment I've rarely found elsewhere. It's an all-encompassing sense of achievement, every single time.
I'm not in it for 'the adrenaline rush of adventure', since the best trips are the boring ones, where (almost) nothing goes wrong*.
*but when it does, one should have a fix already anticipated, and the best fix of all is one which is easy to put into place...
So if you are in need of moving a boat, I'm probably up for moving it, if I can.
Whether it's with me as crew, or with me finding a crew, or if you just want an experienced hand to help you out, get in touch and we can see if it all fits..
