Looking for cook/crew positions

Hi, my name is Ying, and I'm a home cook. Kitchen is my happy place and I hope to nurturing people through my food.

I've been started sailing from 2014 until now (on and off) with some short and long distance sailed experienced. I love the sea voyager, I like to explore new horizons.

I am looking to find a job, also to learn and gain more offshore experience with the boat.

Sailing the Malacca Strait

Ying joined me on my trip in the Malacca strait for a short while in November 2024. She is a very nice, friendly and trustworthy person, she is also a experienced cook for Asian food and travels with light luggage. With her as a local guide I had the luck to explore the Malay seafood cuisine. I can highly recommend here and would take her any time again as a crewmember. Gregor from SY Taloa

Hi, I'm Arnold, captain of sailing yacht Drifter. Ying was on board Drifter for four months from December 2018 on a trip from Malaysia, through the Gulf Eden and the Red Sea to Cyprus in the Mediterranean. Together with another crew we were on board with three. Ying was a very nice crew member, very reliable, independent, willing to handle everything, pleasant to deal with, communicative, and a great cook who knew how to bring our meals with great variations.
