Chef / Mate / Dive Instructor
I started my career at sea in 2012 and over the last 10 years I have travelled to many countries and worn many hats.
I started crossing oceans with Royal Caribbean, I then worked as a Dive instructor and mate in various different countries on a multitude of boats. Ranging from 27’ 200hp boats to a 102’ Tri-level Catamaran any many in-between. Finding myself helping out more and more in the galley and realising that my passion for the culinary arts, instilled in me from a very young age by my classically trained father, was something I could combine with my love for the ocean I moved to the Virgin Islands.
I began working on a 76ft Matrix luxury charter yacht. I then collaborated on restoring a classic Lagoon Catamaran. Launching her and sailing her up and down the Caribbean chain, chartering in the Grenadines and Virgin Islands with up to 8 guests. After experiencing the joys of being owner operator during a pandemic I decided to return to the relative simplicity of working as charter yacht chef on somebody else’s yacht. Running a 58’ Catamaran with a capacity for 10 guests.
To enhance my knowledge further, I joined a private 90’ High performance Catamaran for a UHNW family in Newport, Rhode Island were I was involved in her restoration and full interior refit as well as cheffing for the crew, contractors and the owner and his family.
