Captain/Skipper/engineer
I am a certified RYA Yachtmaster Captain, Commercially endorsed, mechanical engineering professional and have been sailing for 30 years. I started dingy racing at the age of 20 and moved into keelboat racing and cruising 10 years later. I own/sail a Beneteau Idyll 11.5. I have skippered the 118' Super Yacht 'Yanneke Too' delivering her to her new home in Canada, and taught sailing on a Jeanneau 47 in BVI and in USVI. Deliveries from Puerto Rico to Rhode Island, Charleston SC to Bahamas, I have also sailed catamarans upto 50'. I am available to captain or skipper and handle all maintenance work. I am certified First Aid, CPR C -AED, STCW, I have my Restricted Operator's Certificate (maritime), PADI Open Water dive certified, I can repair outboard motors, diesel motors, prop shaft alignment, composite repair and all things mechanical typically found on a sailing vessel of any size. I am very easy going, polite and respectful, and patient. I work very well under stress, my demeanour and decision making abilities do not deteriorate in adverse conditions. I am skilled at docking and maneuvering vessels in tight quarters, and can effectively sail any boat to 200 tonnes.

Very professional Captain
I worked with Gerry on a delivery and also as part of Captain/Stew crew aboard a 50' catamaran with live aboard owners. Gerry is calm, courteous, and very professional. Would highly recommend him to owners and fellow crew.
