Looking for an ocean crossing
Hi! I'm Ben, a 21-year-old sailor with extensive small-boat experience, looking to do my first open-ocean passage. I grew up racing and sailing (mostly Lasers), and I'm comfortable in a wide range of conditions. I'm respectful, calm under pressure, and eager to contribute however I can.
Starting May 20th, I have 3 months free, so I'm flexible on timing and routing. While I haven't done an ocean crossing yet, I learn fast, know my way around boats, and am not afraid of night watches or tough conditions. I'm also a strong swimmer, non-smoker, and easy to get along with (not biased of course).
Let me know if you need an extra hand. I'm happy to pitch in for food and flights, and I'll make sure I'm a net positive on your boat.
