Competent deckhand available from 24th May '25.
Whilst I've been sailing for fifty-four years and have a strong dinghy / keelboat racing background, I've reached a stage whereby I'm transitioning towards 'cruising' with a view to acquiring a part share in a modern production yacht (c.11-14m LOA) within the next year or so... most likely somewhere warmer than the UK. However, before 'pressing the button' and reaching for the wallet, I'm keen to gain further knowledge of various cruising areas and to better understand the pitfalls of 'big boat' ownership. My most recent cruising experience has been in the Dodecanese, the Adriatic and Southern Spain... though I'm also keen to explore further afield. I'd be very interested in joining an established syndicate should you know of a suitable opportunity, whilst in the meantime building up further miles as a deckhand - please don't hesitate to get in touch for what could potentially be a mutually beneficial arrangement.
