Looking for a 1st Mate, 2nd Officer, Lead Deckhand, Deckhand position
I am a First and Second Officer with extensive experience in maritime expeditions in extreme environments such as the Arctic, Antarctica, and Cape Horn. In my role, I am responsible for:
Supervising and leading advanced navigation maneuvers, even in adverse conditions (winds over 40 knots, extreme temperatures, presence of ice)
Standing continuous watches, both day and night, ensuring the safety of the crew and passengers
Coordinating preventive and corrective vessel maintenance, including repairs and technical adjustments in critical conditions
Leading and training work teams, making quick and effective decisions in emergency situations
Managing documentation and administrative processes related to the vessel’s safety and operation
This experience, spanning over 30,000 nautical miles, has allowed me to develop exceptional skills in navigation, leadership, and problem-solving under high-pressure conditions.
I am interested in broadening my horizons by exploring new job markets in the nautical industry, gaining diverse experiences in different environments, and, of course, spending as much time as possible at sea. I am primarily seeking temporary positions rather than permanent ones, but I remain open to all opportunities and flexible regarding the roles available.
