Looking for a Competent Crew position
Hi - I've just joined Crewbay. I'm interested in finding a position as a Competent Crew. I'm looking forward to meeting some new people! Hi my name is Tommaso, I'm a 22 (almost 23) years old italian guy, with my best friend Andrea we plan to circumnavigate the world by sailing and film it, starting in november 2025. We both grew up salling on my family boat, a Bonaventura 36 from 1978, facing eved weather condition with an active role on-board, we both have been salling instructor for the Trento University team, Andrea since a young age took part in long cruises in Greece and Sardinia, I took part in some long rage regattas such as the Palermo-Montecarto 2019 or a transfer from Livorno to Trieste (c.a. 1000cm) almost non-stop.
We are both used at managing night shift even in hard situations, and have basic knowledge of mechanics and electronics: Andrea is taking part in Metis Vela a project sponsored by the University of Padova in which they bulld and race eco-sustaiable small boats.
We are used at living together in tight spaces, we are solution oriented in every aspect of salling life, perform well under pressure and ready to make sacrifices in order to live where we belong, on a sailing boat.
We are both very solar, drama free and ready to share our energy and love for the saling world with anyone who is willing to take part in our journey.
