Looking for a Competent Crew, Novice Crew, Friendship or Mile building position
Hi - I've just joined Crewbay. I'm interested in finding a position as a Competent Crew, Novice Crew, Friendship or Mile building. My dream is to have my own boat one day - which began during Covid lockdown when I discovered sailing videos and I've been hooked ever since. I completed the RYA competent crew as soon as lockdown ended. My experience is limited but my longest voyage was a ten days from Hua Tin in Thailand (where I'm currently living) to Terengganu in Malaysia on a 36ft Pearson, along with the odd sail day here and there.
I'm 51, in reasonable health, have two teenage children (who live in the UK) - I'm well spoken, humble and respectful to others and nature. I'm very keen to learn more about life at sea and would relish the opportunity of joining the 'right' boat. I'm not into racing or being competitive, I'd much rather travel safely. I'm dependable and far too loyal for this world!
