Hardworking crew member looking for Spring sailing work!
Hi everyone! My name is Lauren, and I am a 23-year-old from Colorado, USA. I recently graduated from University and am currently backpacking in SE Asia. I am looking for crew work (preferably around Australia, NZ, or anywhere in Asia, but I am flexible to all locations) starting late February/ early March. I do not have previous sailing experience, but I am very eager to learn and help out where I can!
SKILLS
- Cinematography & visual marketing (I studied film and journalism in uni, so I would be happy to run marketing for a boat if there is interest in video/photography work or social media presence)
- Working with children (I previously was an au pair in Switzerland)
- Hospitality/ cooking & serving (I have served and hosted in multiple restaurants and cafes)
- I don't mind getting my hands dirty and would be happy to do deckhand work/ cleaning
I love to surf (I previously worked at a surf camp in Portugal!), hike/ climb, snorkel/dive (open water certified), and I am excited to learn as much as I can about sailing.
