Young couple looking for a Novice Crew, Friendship or Voluntary work position
Hello,
We are Alice and Ruben, two 25-year-old Parisians, and a couple for 3 years. Passionate about travel and meeting new people, we have decided to embark on a 7-month journey to discover, learn, and explore while also getting into permaculture and sailing before finding more stable jobs.
Alice is interested in ecological issues and more sustainable ways of living. In 2021, she organized and participated in "Le Relais Jeunes," an ecological association project lasting two months, during which she traveled by bike from Brussels to Toulouse, stopping at farms and community hubs. She worked for a year at the Paris City Hall. Alice is also interested in non-violent communication and took a course in equi-pedagogy in 2020. She has a passion for manual work, including watercolor painting, crochet, and pottery.
Ruben is a big fan of cycling and rides every day. He reads a lot and enjoys discussing his readings to exchange views and ideas. He is interested in urban planning, especially in projects and organizational models within cities. He worked for a data company on topics related to social economy and labor markets. He speaks English and Spanish, and has a bit of a neat-freak side that pushes him to always leave spaces spotless!
We are curious, enthusiastic, and attentive, with a strong desire to share and learn throughout this journey. We can't wait to meet you!
