We’re Sofia (24, from Italy??) and Timour (28, from France??), and we’re looking forward to joining a sailing trip this February! ⛵️
A little about us:
We met 17 months ago while working on a German cruise ship—Sofia works with children (speaks Italian, German, English, and Spanish), and Timour works as a sound engineer (speaks French, English, and German). We’re currently learning each other’s native language. ??
We’re nature lovers and adventure seekers, drawn to freedom, beauty, and the opportunity to live simply. Sailing is something we’re eager to experience—not just as travelers but as active participants. One wish is to one day live aboard a sailboat, and this could be the beginning of that journey!
We are committed to minimizing our impact on the environment and respecting the cultures, people, nature, and vessel that welcome us. ?
We love hiking, swimming, snorkeling, biking, travelling and being part of a positive, cooperative community. ??️
What we’re looking for:
We’re complete beginners but enthusiastic learners! We’d love to learn the basics of sailing (and more) from you and contribute however we can (by cooking, cleaning etc), bringing along our humor, smiles, and willingness to help. ??
Our goal is to connect with the sea and ocean in a completely new way—different from our time on cruise ships—and immerse ourselves in this exciting adventure. ?
