Looking for a Novice Crew, Competent Crew, Mile building or Cook position
Ahoy,
I'm Jenni, an ocean enthusiast and nature lover from New Zealand. My partner Brett and I are in the fortunate position to embark on 2025 with ocean passages and exploration at the forefront.
I have recently fallen in love with sailing and can't wait to gain more knowledge and experience.
2024 has allowed me to add and additional 2000nm to my sailing log.
Brett and I work really well together as a team and believe we will be an asset to any boat.
I am a positive, happy person who is easygoing and adaptable. I preform well under pressure in all aspects of being on the ocean. I have experienced some substantial weather conditions and still come out smiling. When gale force winds appear, I can still dance around the galley and prepare a delicious meal.
I have a thorough personality and am very organised. I can follow instructions and am perceptive enough to anticipate a skipper/captain's next move.
I am an outdoors person who is very confident on and in the water (I am an ex-competitive swimmer). Lately I've been enjoying photography and capturing the natural world. I also enjoy land activities, such as hiking and mountain biking.
I'm easy to get along with and can have conversation with anyone about just about anything.

I enjoy all aspects of boat life and am happiest on the ocean. I love to travel, meet new people and experience new cultures. I have experienced a lot in my life and have learned that life is too short not to follow your dreams and see the world. Nobody ever gets to the end of their life and says they wish they had worked harder at their 9-5 desk job.
