Capable Crewmember for Deliveries and Leisure Voyages
Continually building my sailing expertise and moving into this as a profession. I belong to a sailing club in the Chesapeake Bay region but recently moved to Puerto Rico and am thrilled to be next to the ocean every day. Accumulating offshore hours for a Captain's License and pivoting toward day charters and snorkel/dive tours from Eastern PR.
-ASA 101 & 103
-Solid knowledge of sea safety and COLREGS
-Sailing instructor-in-training for the U.S. Naval Academy
-1,500 nm sailed in the last 12 months
I'm dependable, a great communicator, highly educated, a fast leaner, and physically capable. Experienced with deliveries and night shifts. Never been seasick or late to a watch. Until recently, I worked in international relations and finance. I'm also an actively licensed bartender and have worked most positions in the restaurant industry (including cook). Adept/active snorkeler and very proficient underwater; becoming ever more proficient on top of it.
