CREW CURRENTLY IN LAS PALMAS DE GRAN CANARIA, looking for a boat TO WEST AFRICA (GAMBIA, SENEGAL, etc...) OR CABO VERDE
Hey folks ! We are Nestor and Stéphanie (aged 29 and 25). We are currently in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and are looking to embark for West Africa (Mauritania, Senegal, Gambia, Guinea-Bissau, Guinea) or Cape Verde. We're available now to meet you and embark as soon as you like!
Nestor is a carpenter and very handy, so we can help you restore/improve/clean your boat before, during and after sailing if required.
We don't have a lot of sailing experience but we're interested in discovering sailing and the ocean! Nestor has done several sailing courses in Brittany (catamaran school) and I've already sailed for a few days in a liveaboard on Lake Geneva and between Corsica and Sardinia.
We are french and speak english/german/spanish and even some quechua and arabic haha.
I'm going to start a thesis in high mountain archaeology next year in Argentina and that's why we're looking to go to Latin America (we have to join a captain-friend in Gambia or Cape Verde to cross to Brazil). We're both sporty, hardy, adaptable and used to sharing our time and space with other people. We're enthusiastic, always keen to cook and have a good time, and above all willing to learn, help and take part in life on board!
We'd be happy to share this crossing with you, so don't hesitate to contact us if you feel our profile might be of interest to you! Fair winds to all of you ! ?
