Marine scientist looking to join a boat and learn from the captain!
Hi!
I'm Rubén, an oceanographer and scuba diver with a deep love for the sea. I've also gained sailing experience, completing a catamaran course some years ago, and I am looking for more sailing experience.
Originally from Barcelona, I'm now finishing my final year of Marine Science studies with a scholarship in Coffs Harbour, Australia. Since I was 17 years old I started traveling alone, backpacking in many different countries during my summers with the money that I earned working during the year. I love embarking on new adventures, discovering new places, and meeting interesting people to share stories along the way!
I consider myself a very responsible, result-oriented, open-minded social and hard-working person, with experience in many different working ambits. I'm currently seeking opportunities to join a boat around the Pacific to get better at sailing, learn from sailors, and work hard on our trip while having some fun and enjoying the ocean on our way.
