Experienced, certified Sail Canada crew/crusing, enthusiastic beginner looking to crew and add mileage!
Hey everyone, my name is Shane and I'm looking to get out on the water as much as possible! I'm based in Vancouver, I have Sail Canada (CYA) Certification in Basic Crew and Basic Cruising with ~30 hours of on-water experience and want to learn as much as I can before buying my own boat. I'm a team player with basic sailing knowledge, navigation/chart reading, safety procedures and emergency response skills.
I'm physically fit, flexible, enthusiastic/happy to help out and just overall appreciate the opportunity to be out on the water. I don't smoke or do drugs, I'm not averse to a beer here and there at port but don't really drink.
Ideally day sailing around Vancouver area Whatever's needed on the boat I'm more than happy to pitch in.
